Calvert Cliffs Units 1 and 2 Technical Specifications 4.4.5.5.b Reference (a) requires that we report, on an annual basis, the results of the steam gen:rator tube inservice inspection conducted in the past year. This report includes the number and extent of tubes examined, imperfections noted, and the identity of tubes plugged. Attached please find the report of steam generator tube examinations conducted on the Unit I steam generators in April 1996. The Unit I steam generator tube inspection results required 340 total tubes to be plugged in No.11 Steam Generator and 500 total tubes to be plugged in No.12 Steam Generator. The number of circumferential flaws detected were 58 in No.11 Steam Generator and 38 in No.12 Steam Generator. No similar inspections were conducted on the Unit 2 steam generators in 1996.
