Appendix DTICEOFVIOLATION Northern States Power Company Docket No. 50-262 Docket No. 50,306 As a result of _the inspection conducted on June 9 through August 10, 1985 and in accordance with the NRC Enforcement Policy (10CFR2, Appendix C), the following violation was identified.
Technical Specification 6.5.A.3 requires, in part, that cetailed written procedures shall be prepared and followed covering actions to be taken to correct specific and foreseen potential or actual malfunction of systems or components including responses to alams.
Contrary to the above, a complete alarm response procedure for annunciator l
location 47501-501 was not available in the control room from August 23,

1984 to June 24, 1985.

This is a Severity Level V violation (Supplement 1).
Pursuant to the provisions of 10 CFR 2.201, you are required to submit to this office within thirty days of the date of this Notice a written statement or explanation in reply, including for each item of violation:
(1) corrective action taken and the results achieved:
(2) corrective action to be taken to avoid further violation; and (3) the date when full compliance will be achieved.
