This transmits the June 11' - July 291935, resident inspection findings by Mr.
H. Eichenholz and others of this office at the Yankee Nuclear Power Station, Rowe,
Massachusetts. Those findings were based on observation of activities, interviews,
independent measurements, and documents review, and have been discussed with
Mr. N. St. Laurent of your staff.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
In reference to NRC Inspection Report 50-29/85-07, we thank you for informing us
of the status of the corrective and preventive actions documented in your response
letter dated' July 8,1985. Your comments pertained to violation 85-07-02 which
involved the adequacy of a surveillance procedure. Your actions on this issue will
be examined during a future inspection of your licensed program.
