As-Built Team Inspection by NRC at Millstone Unit 3 This letter is to confirm the NRC Region I intent to perform an As-Built Team Inspection at the Millstone Unit 3 site during the September 9 - 20, 1985 pericd. These plans were originally discussed by Mr. James T. Wiggins of this office, with Mr. D. O. Nordquist, of your staff, on August 27, 1985.
The inspection will examine the installed conditions of selected fluid, electrical, instrumentation and HVAC systems to verify that these systems implement the design intent reflected in the FSAR.
Further details have been provided to Mr. L. Nadeau of your staff. A team of six Region I inspectors and 1 section chief will conduct the inspection.
Your staff will be informed of any significant findings on a daily basis to facilitate resolution or prompt corrective actions. An exit interview will be held on September 20, 1985, and the final report will be issued through our normal correspondence process.
