PREDECISIONAL ENFORCEMENT CONFERENCE -
BRUNSWICK NUCLEAR POWER PLANT UNIT 2- DOCKET N0. 50 324
Dear Mr. Campbell:
This letter confirms our telephone conversation on November 4,1996,
concerning a pre decisional enforcement conference requested by us which has
been scheduled for December 9,1996, at 1:00 p.m.
The purpose of this
enforcement conference is to discuss the apparent violation identified in NRC
Inspection Report 50 325, 324/96 15 which addresses your operation of the
facility at steady state reactor core power levels in excess of the license
limit of 2436 megawatts (thermal) for extended periods of time. We currently
understand the problem was with an algorithm error in the Plant Process
Computer. We would like you to discuss the extent of this condition as it
relates to other com) uter programs. The location of the meeting will be at
101 Marietta Street Gl. Atlanta, Georgia, 30th Floor Conference Room. This
meeting is a closed meeting as per " Staff Meetings Open to the Public: Final
Policy Statement" (September 20, 1994; 59 FR 48340).
