PPESSURIZER LOW WATER LEVEL TRIP CMiles, OPA DCaphton, RI DJohnson, RI Re: Haddam Neck Plant The Comission has issued the enclosed Anandrent No. 65 to Facility Operating License flo. DPR-61 for the Haddan Neck Plant. This amendment consists of one change to the Technical Specifications requested in your application dated October 20, 1981. The proposed arendrents dealing with degraded gird voltage, diesel generator surveillance requirements, core cooling system surveillance requirenents and containment air filter sur-veillance requirerents will be the subject of future correspondence.

This amendment revises the technical specifications by deleting the logic renuirerent of pressurizer low water level for a safety injection trip.

This change was requested by the staff in Inspection & Enforcement (IE)

Pulletin 79-06A (Revision No. 1).

A Notice of Consideration of Issuarce of Arendment to License and Proposed No Sienificant Hazards Consideration Deternination and Opportunity for Hearing related to the requested action was published in the Federal Register on October P6, 1983 (48 FR 49580). No connents or requests for hearing were received, ,

A copy of our related Safety Evaluation is enclosed. This action will appear in the Comission's biweekly notice publication in the Federal Reafster.
