GNRO-96/00128 Gentlemen:
On November 20,1996, the NRC staff requested that Entergy Operations, Inc. revise its proposed amendment to TS 2.1.1.2 (Reference 1). As requested, please find attached Entergy Operations, Inc. formal submittal of revised page 2.0-1 of the Technical Specifications adding a footnote for Section 2.1.1.2 indicating that the proposed MCPR limits for two recirculation loop operation and for single recirculation loop operation are applicable only for Cycle 9 operation.
This is being submitted in continuation with GNRO-96/0087, GNRO-
- 96/00100, GNRO-96/00119, and GNRO-96/00126 regarding the proposed amendment to the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Operating License for the Cycle 9 Minimum Critical Power Ratio Safety Limit (SLMCPR).
I The original amendment request had been reviewed and accepted by the Plant Safety Review Committee and the Safety Review Committee. The conclusions of the Significant Hazards Considerations for this submittal remain unchanged..
