NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-445/96-14; 50-446/96-14
Dear Mr. Terry:
An NRC inspection was conducted October 28 through November 1, 1996, at your
Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station, Units 1 and 2, reactor facility. At the
conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed with you and those
members of your staff identified in the enclosed report. The enclosed report
presents the scope and results of that inspection.
The Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station physical security program was
examined during the inspection. The inspection activities consisted of
selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews
with personnel, and observation of activities in progress.
Your land vehicle control program, including the vehicle barrier system, its
bomb blast analysis, and procedure controls, was examined during the
inspection. We determined that you had implemented an effective land vehicle
-
control program for the protection of malevolent use of vehicles.
The material enclosed, herewith, contains Safeguards Information as defined by
10 CFR Part 73,21 and its disclosure to unauthorized individuals is prohibited
by Section 147 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended. Therefore, the
material will not be placed in the Public Document Room.
