VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY NORTH ANNA POWER STATION UNITS 1 AND 2 OPERABILITY OF ALTERNATE AC SOURCE in our letter dated August 21,1995 (Serial No.95-329), Virginia Electric and Power Company informed the NRC, that we had completed the implementation of our station blackout (SBO) modifications. The AAC power source was considered fully capable of responding to and recovering from a station blackout event for a four hour period as approved by the NRC in their Supplemental Safety Evaluation dated June 8,1992.

In a recent telephone conservation with Mr. G. Edison, the NRC requested that we provide written confirmation of the operability of the Alternate AC power source and compliance with 10 CFR 50.63. Based on that request, we are hereby providing confirmation that the AAC power sourca is operable and in full compliance with 10 CFR 50.63.
