Change in Safety Classification of Perry Nuclear Power Plant Transverse Incore Probe (TIP) and Subsystems Perry FSAR Amendment 20 changes the safety classification of the Transverse Incore Probe (TIP) piping and subsystems as is reflected in Table 3.2-1, Note 2, from "2" to "NSR" (we believe NSR is typographically in error and should be NSC meaning "nonsafety class"). The TIP piping / subsystems were correctly identified as meeting 10CFR50, Appendix B requirements in the ini-tial FSAR, which no longer appears to be the case.
This change is unacceptable in that the TIP piping / subsystems are required to be safety classified. Unless this is corrected before issuance of the next Perry SER supplement, Table 3.2-1 will be considered an unresolved open item.
