i This letter is to notify.the NRC that Southern California Edison (Edison) will erform the actions and arovide the information as requested by Generic Letter p(GL) 96-05. Edison esta)lished a Motor-0perated Valve (MOV) periodic verification program in response to GL 89-10.
Edison will review the current M0V. verification program to determine if any changes are appropriate based on GL 96-05 and will submit a written summary description of the MOV periodic verification program by March 17, 1997.
This letter meets the 60 day response required by GL 96-05.
