-We-have. completed'our review of the July 12, 1985, revisions to the Point Beach Nuclear Plant Emergency Plan.
Our review indicated that your plan changes do
- not-downgrade.the effectiveness of your emergency plan.
Please be-: reminded that 10 CFR Part 50.54(q) requires NRC approval of any changes to your plan which may decrease the effectiveness of the plan.
However, if your safety review indicates no decrease in emergency preparedness, then changes can be made without.NRC approval.
In all cases, you should furnish copies of each proposed change to the NRC in accordance with 10 CFR Part 50.54(q).
- Also, any changes to the Emergency Plan-Implementing Procedures should be made in accordance with the' requirements of 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix E, Section V (Implementing Procedures).
