Physical Protection Plan for Special Nuclear Material of Low Strategic Significance, EMF-538(P)
Enclosed are five copies of revision 14 of the subject physical protection plan. This revision includes minor, denoted by vertical lines in the right margin, updates to Figures 1.1 (to add new roads and a new area facility) and 1.2 (to add the new Dry Conversion Facility, LUR/SPF Building, MERF Building, and other structures); to remove the Benton City Police from the LLEA assistance listing (the Richland Police and the Benton County Sheriff will take over their functions); and to correct " Guards
- to " Watchmen" in event UP7, Table 4.2 (this change was erroneously not made in Revision 13). The revision, which does not decrease the effectiveness of the plan, is submitted under the provisions of 10 CFR 70.32(e).
The document is considered proprietary to Siemens Power Corporation (SPC) and an affidavit to j
that effect is included. The NRC may, however, reproduce this information for regulatory purposes.
