Dear Mr. Weber:
Ref.:
Letter, R.C. Pierson to L.J. Maas, " Revisions to Fundamental Nuclear Material Control Plan (TAC No. L30880), dated August 21,1996 In the referenced letter the NRC accepted changes to Siemens Power Corporation's (SPC's)
FNMC plan (amendment 36 to license SNM-1227) which dealt, among other things, with SPC's method of shipper / receiver difference (SRD) analysis of UF receipt. Since that time, NRC &
SPC have been in discussions regarding the determir.ation of percent uranium in receipts of UFe.
Changes, to the FNMC Plan, were submitted to NRC in a letter dated November 11,1996.
Later discussions between NRC and SPC resulted in revisions to the November 11* letter.
Those latest revisions were faxed to NRC on November 15,1996.
SPC hereby formally submits revised pages 7-2, and 7-3 of EMF-12(P), " Nuclear Materials Safeguards Procedures Description for the Fuels Fabrication Plants" consistent with our j
November 15,1996 fax to you.
Very truly yours, b.
