Dear Mr. Haughney:
The Louisa County Board of Supervisors requests a representative of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) attend the November 4,1996 regular Board of Supervisors meeting. A representative of the NRC is requested to be present during the public hearing for the North Anna Power Station's (NAPS) request for a Conditional Use Permit (CUP 5-96) to permit dry cast storage at the NAPS. The Board of Supervisors has told me they have questions concerning the NRC's role in approval and monitoring of the proposed dry cast storage facility at the NAPS.
The Board of Supervisors will be considering the NAPS's request Monday, November 4, 1996 at 7:00 p.m. in the Louisa County Office Building, located at 1 Woolfolk Avenue, Louisa, Virginia, in the Public Meeting Room, Main Floor. Your presence during this meeting would be greatly appreciated.
