Resolution of Problems Associated with High Point Vent Leak /Restanption of Operations Gentlemen:
This refers to a telephone conversation held on August 8, 1985 between R. J.. Rodriguez of your staff and J. L. Crews of this office and to your letter to the Region V office dated August 6,1985, describing short and long term actions you have taken or are to take relating to the subject above.

- Based upon the discussion by telephone on August 8,1985 and consistent-with '
your letter of August 6,1985, it is out understanding that ydu'fiave or will complete those short term actions described in your letter of August 6,1985 and the enclosure thereto prior to a resumption of power operation of the Rancho Seco Nuclear Generating Station.
We further understand that you will provide to this office, in writing by September'21,1985, a schedule for the completion of the long term actions descr,1 bed in the enclosure to your letter of August 6,1985.
On the basis of the above understandings, we have no further questions regarding the resumption of power operation of the Rancho Seco Nuclear Generating Station.
If our understanding concerning your actions in this matter is not correct, you should notify this office in writing promptly. Your cooperation with us in this matter is appreciated.
