Subsequent review of the steam generator tube rupture (SGTR)-analysis has identified a minor. error in the calculation of the initial break fiow I
rate.
The revised offsite dose results (EAB) are summarized i
in Attachment 1.
These doses remain bounded by 10CFR100 l
limits.
The remaining discussion of the SGTR event presented in the March 15, 1996 submittal remains valid.
I As previously requested in the March 15, 1996 and prior 1
submittals, Duke Power is requesting that the subject
' Technical Specification changes for McGuire Units 1 and 2 be
--issued as'soon as possible and that the changes'become effective upon replacement of the steam generators for each respective unit.
