REVISED RADIOLOGICAL CONTINGENCY AND EMERGENCY PLAN (TAC NO. L30891)

Dear Dr. Reda:

In accordance with your application. dated July 31, 1996, and pursuant to Part-70 of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Materials License SNM-1097 is hereby amended to authorize modifications to the Radiological Contingency and Emergency Plan. These changes were submitted pursuant to the requirements of 10 CFR Part 70.32 and NRC agrees that they do not decrease the i

effectiveness of your plan.

Accordingly, Safety License Condition S-3 is revised to read as follows.

S-3 The licensee shall maintain and execute the response measures in the Radiological Contingency and Emergency Plan, Revision 0, dated December 2, 1994, and revisions dated February 1, and February 14, 1995; and July 31, 1996; or as further revised by the licensee consistent with 10 CFR 70.32(i).

' All other conditions of this license shall remain the same.

Enclosed are copies of the revised Materials License SNM-1097 and the Safety Evaluation Report, which includes the Categorical Exclusion determination.
