In accordance with Section 3507 of Public Law 96-511 of December 11, 1980, 1
and regulations of the Office of fianagement and Budget (OMB), I am enclosing for 0MB review copies of Standard Form 83 and the Supporting Staterrent for a generic letter to commercial power facilities to collect their estimated number of candidates and dates, including requalification dates, regarding operator licensing examinations.
The estimated respondent burden is 176 person hours.
In accordance with NRC's pr'cedures, my staff has made an independent review of the practical utility ano necessity for the proposed information collection and we are in concurrence with this proposal. We have found no similar information requests in the agency.
Therefore, we are transmitting this material for appropriate OMB review and approval.
OMB approval is requested by the close of business Tuesday, September 3, 1985, in order to receive the information requested prior to the beginning of FY 1986.
