Submittal of Revision 13 to the Yankee Security Plan

Dear Dr. Murley:

Enclosed is Revision 13 to the Yankee Security Plan and a description of the changes made pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54(p).

Yankee is completing an addition and modifications to the gatehouse which are designed to improve personnel processing and access control. These changes, which require modification to the Yankee Security Plan, provide an improved security operation by addition of security work space, redesign of personnel flow paths, and improved proximity of security management to l

security personnel.

! In addition to the above we have a new building (Safe Shutdown Building) which we are designating as an access control area. Inclusion of this area is in conformance with similar areas at the facility.

The enclosed Attachments (A) and (B) are considered " Safeguards Information" and should be withheld from public disclosure, pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790.
