ULNRC-ll55 DOCKET NUMBER 50-483 CALLAWAY PLANT, UNIT 1 REVISION TO TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION 4.7.10.1.2c Union Electric Company is transmitting three (3) original and forty (40) conformed copies of an application for amendment to Facility Operating License No. NPF-30 for Callaway Plant, Unit 1.
This application requests that Technical Specification 4.7.10.1.2.c be revised to delete the requirement that the 18-month fire pump diesel engine inspection be performed during shutdown.
This is consistent with the. Limiting Condition for Operation (LCO) in that only two of three 1500 gpm pumps are required and the system is capable of meeting its design function even during inspection of a fire pump diesel engine.
The proposed change would become effective for Union Electric implementation upon NRC approval.
Enclosed is a check for the $150 application fee as required by 10CFR70.21.
