RESPONSE TO GENERIC LETTER 83-28, ITEM 3.1.3 - DAVIS-BESSE NUCLEAR POWER STATION By letter dated November 7,1983 (Serial No.1000), Toledo Edison Company (TED) responded to Generic Letter 83-28 (Required Actions Based on Generic Implications of Salem ATWS Events).
We have evaluated the TED response to item 3.1.3 (Post-Maintenance Testing Requirements which can be Demonstrated to Degrade Safety) and have found it to be acceptable. Our Safety Evaluation is enclosed.
