Grand Gulf Nuclear Station, Unit 1 - Primary Reactor Containment Structural Integrity Test, Final Report, January 1982 By letter dated April 14, 1982, the Mississippi Power & Light Company trans-mitted the subject report of a preoperational structural proof test for the primary reactor containment of Grand Gulf Unit 1.
By letter dated October 14, i
1983, the licensee provided responses to NRC staff questions resulting from the staff's review of the report.
I The NRC staff has completed its review of the subject report and the additional infomation provided by the licensee's October 14, 1983, letter.
The staff's safety evaluation is enclosed.
The staff concludes that the structural integrity test for tne containment of Grand Gulf Nuclear Station, Unit 1, is acceptable.
