RECEIPT OF EXERCISE SCENARIO We received your letter dated June 13, 1985, which transmitted the Hatch Emergency Exercise Scenario to both NRC Headquarters and Region II.

In order to avoid the potential for compromising the effectiveness of an exercise due to advance public disclosure, all copies of the exercise scenario are held in Region II until after the exercise has been completed and then forwarded to the NRC Headquarters Document Management Branch for docketing. Therefore, for future exercises, we request that you not submit an advance copy of the scenario to NRC Headquarters.

We appreciate you cooperation in this matter to ensure effective maintenance of your emergency response capabilities.
