In anticipation of the imminent star; of defueling and additional emphasis on decontamination and waste handling, some modifications to the current organizational structure of the TMI-2 Recovery Project are considered desirable. Enclosed is a revised Organization Plan for TMI-2 which proposes those changes for your approval.
The purpose of this organizational evolution is to achieve more efficient conduct of Project activities and will accomplish the following:
1.
Consolidation of waste management activities 2.
Consolidation of decontamination activities 3.
Restructuring of the Recovery Programs Department 4.
