This refers to the routine resident safety inspection conducted by Mr. W. J. I
Raymond of this office on June 4 - July 1,1985, at the Vemont Yankee Nuclear t
Power Station, Vernon, Vemont. The inspection consisted of observation of l
activities, interviews with personnel and document reviews. The results of the
inspection are described in the NRC Region I Inspection Report enclosed with this
letter and were discussed with Mr. J. P. Pelletier of your staff at the conclusion
of the inspection.
No violations were identified within the scope of this inspection.
Our inspector also reviewed the corrective actions taken to correct the loss of
secondary containment violation described in our letter to you dated October 11,
1984. We have no further questions regarding your actions at this time.
