This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. H. D. Chaney of this office

during the period June 24-28, 1985, of activities authorized by NRC Construc-

t tion Permit CPPR-145 for the River Bend Station, and to the discussion of our

i findings with Mr. J. Deddens and other members of your staff at the conclusion

of the inspection.

j Areas examined during the inspection included the radiation protection program, ,

TMI action items, and radiation protection activities related to the emergency l

l preparedness program. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selec- l

l tive examination of procedures and representative records, interviews with  !

personnel, and observations by the inspector. These findings are documented in

the enclosed inspection report.

Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were l

identified.
