PROPOSED RESPONSE TO PRESS INQUIRIES The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has been advised by the Department of Justice that a Grand Jury investigation has been convened in the District of Columbia looking into alleged wrongdoing of.certain NRC employees relating to.their actions within the regulatory process.
The Department of Justice has provided us any information indicating the existence of a not safety problem at any installation.
Chairman Palladino, with the support of all Commissioners, has pledged to the Department of Justice the Agency's' full and complete cooperation.
