An Emergency Plan Implementation Appraisal was conducted by Mr. W.' Lazarus and
others of this office on July 22-26, 1985 at the Millstone Unit 3 Nuclear
Power Station, Waterford, Connecticut.
A follow-up meeting was held at the
NRC Region I office on August 1,1985 to discuss resolution of issues raised
during the appraisal.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations of the inspectors.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were identified and no
response to this letter is necessary.
