Dear Sir:

As indicated in Reference (d), the welds in question would be reinspected in order to remove the alightest suspicion of a possible suspect practice.

All accessible areas of these welds have been reinspected, and there was no obvious indications found of the performance of unauthorized weld or base metal repairs.

We have completed the actions necessary to resolve this allegation and have concluded our investigation. Accordingly, this should be considered our final response to your concern.
