UPDATED PRESSURE / TEMPERATURE CURVES CMiles, OPA BElliot EShcron Re: Haddam Neck Plant The Comission has issued the enclosed Arendment No. 70 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-61 for the Haddam Neck Plant. This amendment is in response to your application dated June 11, 1085 as revised June 77, 1985.

1 This amendment revises the technical specifications to update the pressure /

temperature limit curves for hydrostatic and leal rate testing and for heatup and cooldown rates. All of tFese curves are being updated to shew the required limitations out to 27.0 effective full power years. This amendment also revises the technical specifications to delete two individual curves on Figures 3.4-1, 3.4-6 and 3.4-7 that describe the maxirun pressure of the residual heat renoval (RHR) system and mininum pressure for operation of a single reactor ecolant pump.

Notices of Consideration of Issuance of Amendment to License and Proposed No Significant Hazards Consideration Determination and Opportunity for Hearing related to the requested action were published in the Federal Registe_r_ on June 18, 1985 (50 FP F5364) and August 14, 1985 (50 FR 32790),

fio comments or requests for hearirp were received.

A copy of our related Safety Evaluation is enclosed. This action will appear in the Comission's biweekly notice publication in the Federal Register.

This amendment also revises the technical specifications to delete two individual curves on i Figures 3.4-1, 3.4-6 and 3.4-7 that describe the maximum pressure of the residual heat removal (RHR) system and minimum pressure for operation of a single reactor coolant pump.
