50 - 315 UNIT NAME D. C. Cook - Unit No. 1 DATE 6-7-85 COMPLETED BY B. A. Svensson MAJOR SAFETY-RELATED MAINTENANCE MAY, 1985 M-1 Corrected leak-by condition on Valve 1-FW-181 feedwater line drain valve at containment penetration, by machining new seating surfaces on valve body and plug. Valve was repacked and returned to service.

M-2 Removed hand-hole covers and tube-lane blocking devices from steam generators 11, 12, 13 and 14.

Repaired welded undercut on welds made on split plates and 3/8" blocks. Welds were inspected by Q.C.

M-3 Ground out and repaired cracks in cladding on east centrifugal charg-ing pump.

Welds were inspected by Q.C.

M-4 Replaced valve bonnet on the isolation valve to PPP-303 transmitter.

Valve was retested for operability.

M-5 Replaced SI-126, seal welded bonnet Rockwell check valve with a Con-val clamp seal check valve.

M-6 Replaced bearing on lower containment access outer door. Door was inspected following repairs.

M-7 Replaced bonnet assemblies on CS-359 and CS-360, seal water filter drain valves. Adjusted travel stops as required.

M-8 Replaced diaphragms on the following valves:

CS-357, seal water re-turn filter inlet; CS-361, seal water return filter outlet and CS-356, seal water return filter bypass.

M-9 Replaced body-to-bonnet gasket on 1-RH-104E.

Also added 4 rings of packing to 'E' RHR pump suction from recirculating sump.

M.1 0 Repaired XRV-228 and found piece of metal in seat of valve.

Lapped seat and tested good, XRV-228 is pressure regulator for 1-CD Diesel Turbo Charger.

M-11 On 1-CD Diesel Generator, disassembled 3-way temperature control valves in lube oil and jacket water coolers.

Installed new thermo-stats and 0-rings.

M-12 Due to excessive leakage; replaced packing, body-to-bonnet gasket, and trim assembly on QRV-303.

Three-way valve on inlet of volume control tank was retested for oper. ability.

M-13 CCW-180W, Inlet to "W" RHR Heat Exchanger could not be isolated during ISI hydro.

Installed new valve after removal of old valve showed that seat needed replacing.
