REPORT NOS. 50-338/85-14 AND 50-339/85-14
On May 21-22, 1985, NRC inspected activities authorized by NRC License Nos. NPF-4
and NPF-7 for your North Anna facility.
At the conclusion of the inspection, the
findings were discussed with those members of your staff identified in the
enclosed inspection report.
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report.
Within these
areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and
representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of activities
in progress.

Your attention is directed toward the exercise findings regarding the critique
process.
We encourage you to enhance the effectiveness of your critiques, and
assure that exercise findings are documented and appropriate corrective actions
taken.
See paragraph 17 of the report details.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were identified.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2,
Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and enclosure
will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
