Nuclear Energy Institute Guidelines (reference 1). At that time, Zion Station's schedule for completion of the assessment of severe accident management capabilities and ,
implementation of any identified enhancements was June 30,1997. !
Significant efforts to refocus improvement at the site, including site unitization, ,
management reorganization, implementation ofImproved Technical Specifications, and other program improvement initiatives, have necessitated reprioritization of Severe Accident issue Closure Guideline implementation. Therefore, Zion Station is revising its originally communicated schedule to December 31,1997.
