This refers to the meeting at our office on July 2,1985, between Mr. R. S.
Leddick and members of his staff with Mr. R. D. Martin and members of Region IV staff.
This meeting gave the NRC a broad brush view of LP&L's completed milestones, current plant operating activities, status of licensing activities, emergency planning schedule and the proposed methodology for handling their Civil Penalty.
It is my opinion that this meeting was beneficial in that LP&L provided additional understanding of the status and plans for activities at the Waterford nuclear site.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
