(LACBWR). This amendment is in response to your application dated March 21, 1984 The amendment adds a new paragraph 4.2.23 to the Technical Specifications to require the Donineralized Virgin Water Tank to be operable with a

! minimum water level of 1 foot. In addition the amendnent adds a surveillance requirement to verify the minimun water level in the tank at least once per 7 days, and adds a basis for the above requirenents.

The amendment adds a new paragraph 4.2.23 to the Technical Specifications to require the Demineralized Virgin Water Tank to be operable with a minimum water level of I foot. In addition the amendment adds a surveillance requirement to verify the mininum water level in the tank at least once per 7 days, and adds a basis for the above requirements.
