La Crosse Boiling Fater Feactor We have recently obtained the services of Pacific Northwest Laboratories (PNL) to assist our staff in the review of the exemption you requested regarding on-site insurance. Mr. E. S. Murphy ard R. I. Smith from PNL will be visitirp the site on October 22 and 23,1985 to become familiar with the site and to aid their review of the excr:ption. Pr. John Stang of my staff, the project manager for La Crosse, has been in contact with Mr. John Parkyn to make arrangements for the site visit.

Ve are working expeditiously to complete cur evaluation and issue the exemption by mid-December 1985. Should you have any questions regarding our review of the exemption please contact Mr. Stang.

Mr. E. S. Murphy and R. I. Smith from PNL will be visiting the site on October 22 and 23, 1985 to become familiar with the site and to aid their review of the exemption.
