FUEL OIL AND LUBE OIL KEEP WARM PUMPS HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-354 The following pumps were provided as part of the Emergency Diesel Generators package provided by Colt Industries.

P402 Fuel Oil Pumps A,

D, P407 Lube Oil Keep Warm Pumps All eight of the above pumps were manuf actured by Crane Deming (Model 1539) to ASME Section III, Class 3 require-ments.
It has now come to Public Service Electric and Gas Company's attention that Crane Deming no longer has an "N"
stamp and has sold their pump line to the Gorman-Rupp Com-pany.
Complete pumps and parts are obtainable from Gorman-Ruppt however, they do not have an "N" stamp.
Public Service Electric and Gas Company thereby requests permission to purchase spare and replacement parts for the above pumps without an "N" stamp.
These parts would be procured to meet all the ASME Section III requirements, including all appropriate quality assurance requirements in NCA of Section III, with the exception of the "N" stamp.
The quality assurance requirements will comply with 10 CFR

8/6/85 qualified for service and will meet the requirements of IEEE 323-74 and IEEE 344-75.
Surveillance requirements to periodically demonstrate operability will be implemented in accordance with the in-service testing program.
