CONFIRMATION OF MEETING ARRANGEMENTS - NORTH ANNA AND SURRY SALP MEETING This confirms the telephone 'co'nversation between Mr. R. J. Hardwick of your staff and Mr. S. A. Elrod of my staff concerning a management meeting at your corporate offices on May 17, 1985. The time of the meeting was established as 2:00 p.m.

This meeting will be open to the public. A proposed meeting agenda is enclosed.

We requested this meeting to review the results of our Systematic Assessment of Licensee Performance (SALP) program for your North Anna and Surry facilities.

This program involves an appraisal of your regulatory performance by selected NRC managers. Your regulatory performance was evaluated for the period Septenber 1, 1983 through February 28, 1985. The results of this evaluation, the SALP Board Report, will be forwarded to you approximately one week prior to our meeting.

Should you have any questions regarding these arrangements, we will be pleased to discuss them.
