in letters dated February 8,1996; August 15,1996; and December 19,1996; Wisconsin Electric submitted Technical Specifications Change Request 170. This TSCR proposes amendments to the Point Beach Technical Specifications i
Section 15.3.10, " Control Rod and Power Distribution Limits," to improve the clarity of this section. A surveillance is being moved to Section 15.4.1 and a surveillance is being added to Section 15.4.1. Additionally, the guidance contained in the Westinghouse Owner's Group Improved Standard Technical Specifications, NUREG 1431, Revision 0, was used to aid in improving the specifications that were not clear. 4 letters dated December 2 and 19,1996. In subsequent review of this Technical Specifications change request, it has been l
determined that the following correction is needed:
Change the reference in Technical Specification Table 15.4.1-1 note 20 from TS 15.3.10.B to TS 15.3.10.E. This correction is necessary because the Technical Specifications section that previously contained the hot channel factor limits is being changed from TS 15.3.10.B to TS 15.3.10.E.
This correction is editorial and hence the conclusions that these changes do not involve a significant hazards consideration, authorize a significant change in the types or total amounts of any effluent release, or result in any significant increase in individual or cumulative occupational exposure are not affected. We, therefore, continue to conclude that the proposed amendments meet the requirements of 10 CFR S t.22(c)(9) and that an environmental impact statement or negative declaration and environmental impact appraisal need not be prepared.
