Dear Dr. Grace:

1 In our letter of December 26, 1984, which was in response to a notice of violation in IE Inspection Report Nos.

50-338/84-40 and 50-339/84-40, we stated that the expected completion date for the system evalution of the turbine building sump was February 28, 1985 and 'or the RWST vent was April 15, 1985. It is now expected that the cost, scope and scheduling for these evaluations will be completed by

-July 15, 1985. Any further actions required to implement the recomm-endations made as a result of these studies will be scheduled and implemented as required.

In addition, the completion date for the changes to the training pro-gram were expected to be completed during the second training cycle i

rotation for operations personnel in 1985. The initial training has been completed for the' operations personnel and the revisions to the training programs are expected to be completed by September 1,1985.
