Dear Dr. Grace:

In our letter of December 12, 1984, which was in response to a notice of violation on IE Inspection Report Nos. 50-338/84 ;37 and 50-339/84-37, we stated that the procedures governing the review and approval of new and revised procedures would be revised, if necessary, by March 1, 1985. It was determined that one procedure (Station Administrative Procedure 5.4) needed to be revised. This procedure revision was prepared by March 1, 1985, but the review and approval process was not completed. The com-pletion date for the implementation of the revised procedure will be no later than March 31, 1985. The NRC Resident Inspectors have been informed of the status of this item.

Very truly yours, I
