Dear Mr. Beard:
The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No.155 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-72 for the Crystal River Unit No. 3 Nuclear Generating Plant (CR3}. The amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications (TS) l in response to your application dated September 23, 1996, to delete a note for l
the Surveillance peauirement (SR) SR 3.3.7.1 for the Engineered. Safeguard i
Actuation System (ESA5) Logic.
The NOTE allowed delaying entry 1.;to l
applicable Conditions and Required Actions for up to 8 hours9.259259e-5 days <br />0.00222 hours <br />1.322751e-5 weeks <br />3.044e-6 months <br /> during periodic l
testing of the ESAS automatic actuation logic matrix.
The revised TS has I
eliminated the NOTE and requires entry into applicable TS Conditions during 1
the performance of the ESAS test.
