This refers to the special safety inspection conducted by Mr.R. S. Love of,
this office on April 16 through June 11, 1985, of activities at Clinton Power
Station authorized by NRC Construction Permit No. CPPR-137 and to the discussion
of our findings With Mr. D. P. Hall and others of your staff at the conclusion
of the inspection.

The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas examined during
the inspection.
Within these areas, the inspection consisted of a selective

examination of procedures and representative records, observations, and

No violations or deviations with NRC requirements were identified during the
course of this inspection.
