The purpose of this letter is to provide transmittal of the subject repon in response to NRC Generic Letter 88-20, Supplement 4 " Individual Plant Examination of Extemal Events (IPEEE) for Severe Accident Vulnerabilities -
10CFR50.54(f). The enclosed repon provides documentation of the methodologies used and results of the examinations conducted for Byron Station. Please refer to Section I of this repon for a summary of this effon.
