O.' Box 840 Denver,. Colorado 80201 Gentlemen: 'This refers to the special inspection conducted by Messers I!obert E. Farrell, Johns P.'Jaudon, G. L. Plumlee III, Michael E. Skow, and William A. Spencer of this office during the period June 25 through July 3,1985 of activities authorized by NRC Operating License DPR-34 for Fort St. Vrain Nuclear Station, and to the discussion of our findings with Mr. Jack Gahm, and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection. Areas examined during the inspection included surveillance procedures and reco-ds, IE bulletin and generic letter followup, plant staff readiness to operate ~and maintain the plant, and plant tours. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspectors. These findings are documented in the enclosed report. Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were identified.
