The purpose of this letter is to inform the NRC staff of Quad Cities' intention to defer submittal of our final IPEEE report until February 28,1997. In Reference (a), Comed notified the NRC staff of our expectation to submit this report on December 30,1996. Consistent with I
conversations with the NRC staff, Comed will defer submittal until February 28,1997 to address issues identified during the development of the final report. This change in commitment does not represent a significant delay from the schedule proposed that addresses Quad Cities' efforts associated with Reference (b).
