As required by 10 CFR 50.71(e), Enclosure 1 contains Amendment 12 of the SON UFSAR. Amendment 12 is an eighteen month update from Amendment 11, which was submitted by TVA letter dated May 12,1995. Amendment 12 reflects modifications to the facility, procedure changes, and administrative changes to the site that were made between November 16,1994, and June 10,1996. This Amendment 12 also includes resolution of several of the discrepancies identified to date as a part of the UFSAR review process.
i As required by 10 CFR 50.59(b)(2), a copy of the SON 10 CFR 50.59 report is also i
provided. This report contains summaries of the safety evaluations performed for the period of November 16,1994, to June 10,1996.
TVA is continuing to review the UFSAR, evaluate the remaining discrepancies, and prepare the required changes to the UFSAR. For these required changes to the FSAR, TVA willissue Amendment 13 to SON's UFSAR by June 6,1997, to ensure that NRC and the public have the updated material from the ongoing reviews available in a timely ft:5!nn. Amendment 13 will continue to reflect modifications to the facility, procedure changes, and administrative changes to the site that were made up to June 10,1996, cut-off provided in Amendment 12. Enclosure 3 contains TVA's commitment.
