l Additional Information and Revised Technical Specification Chance Paaes-l By letter dated April 25,1996, Boston Edison Company submitted proposed changes to the Pilgrim Station Technical Specifications. The changes involved the definition of_ Operable-i
' Operability, the allowable out-of-service time for the emergency diesel generators, and l
requirements for the Standby Gas Treatment (SGT) and Control Room High Efficiency Air filtration (CRHEAF) systems.
The subsequent NRC review of this submittal determined that the Operable-Operability definition and SGT/CRHEAF portions of the submittal can be reviewed separately from that of the emergency diesel generator portion. In discussions with the NRC staff on the mechanics of this separation, it was determined that the appropriate Technical Specification (TS) pages should be culled from the April 25,1996, submittal, updated to reflect the latest Amendment of record (Amendment 166), re-worded as appropriate to incorporate suggested changes by the NRC, and submitted on the docket. These pages are provided as Attachment A. Also, as requested, a discussion of the revisions to the updated TS pages, including information on the CRHEAF system design and operation, is provided in Attachment B.
