4/A December 6, 1996 At a meeting held December 3, 1996 the Board of i Directors of the Lake County Chambers of Commerce passed a motion in support of the proposed merger of j Centerior Energy and Ohio Edison into a new holding company call FirstEnergy. We feel that this will form a strong competitor in the-energy market and retain jobs and revenue in the area. This will result in benefits to both the commercial and residential interests in our communities. 1 I }Q m > + ct & e-Ira Newman President 1 i I 9652310130 961206 PDR ADOCK 05000334 H PDR fl Oblo ',
